Parking Lot Art to be New Tradition for Seniors

Elise Pierce, Red and Gray Journalist

Slowly but surely, the lower level of the student parking lot has become filled with color. For the first time in Fitchburg High history, seniors have been given the option to paint their parking spots. The work that seniors have been doing is funny and artistic, and it adds a significant creativity boost to the previously bare parking lot.

The beginning of this tradition will be a legacy of the class of 2020, and not only does it add culture and brightness to the school, but half of the money that is collected is donated to a scholarship fund within the school. Clearly, the benefits of this class project are numerous. Seniors are reminded that there are still spots available for purchase and painting – just see Mrs. Kelly to take part in this new and exciting privilege.
