Have you ever thought about joining a club, but thought you wouldn’t have time for it, or thought it would make you less popular? Well, it’s time to push those thoughts aside and get involved in something at the school – that doesn’t include homework!
FHS offers a wide variety of clubs, so you are sure to find something that interests you. We have ski club, baking club, HOSA, best buddies, currents events club, book club, envirothon, student ambassadors, ocean science club, helping hands, yearbook, nature club and many more. If you can’t find a club you are interested in, you can create your own, as FHS is always welcoming of new ideas and making sure everyone feels included.
Clubs are a great way to make friends, talk to people you wouldn’t normally see in your classes, and learn something new that’s not in an academic setting. Clubs are an exciting way to give back to your school and show your Red Raider pride by participating in competitions, conferences, or field trips to enhance the knowledge you gain.
Joining a club will not only boost your mood, but will improve your performance during the school day, your grades, and your attendance rate.
